Happy Chinese New Year

Chinese New Year, also called Spring Festival, has more than 4,000 years of history. It is the grandest and the most important annual event for Chinese people.

February 16th marks the beginning of Spring Festival, also known as Chinese New Year or Lunar New Year. It is one of the most celebrated events in the world. It is an occasion for families to gather and celebrate. It is known for being highly colourful, with people lighting fireworks and watching traditional lion dances.  The traditions and celebrations go back in time and are transmitted from generation to generation; they welcome health, wealth and good relationships to come in the New Year.

 

 

With celebrations lasting as long as 15 days, there are plenty of opportunities for you to wish someone a happy Chinese New Year.
